I went back out to the boat today in between working on the repairs at the house and inspecting a parachute.   I wanted to get the first coat of paint on the prop before the rain set in, and my weekend is going to be insane.  The yard hasn’t done anything this week…things aren’t going as planned and I’m trying to remember that I can’t will other people in to action.  Anyway, it wasn’t all for naught….I did get the prop masked and hit her with the first coat.  What follows is the repair log for today, as well as some pics.  Hopefully next week will be more productive.  In the meantime, USPA Safety Day will be in full swing Saturday, followed by the wedding of two very amazing friends of mine.     – CC

8 Mar 12 – Met with Larry/Ron upon arrival, no time schedule for boat…cited lack of manpower.  Found vent house for primary fuel tank…reattached to test efficacy.  Also noted diesel saturation in wood near generator.  Aired boat out, sprayed first coat of paint on prop despite heavy winds.  Rain setting in…will re-coat next week.
